Hi, I’m Alison,

I wanted to introduce myself, so when you come into your first class at our Studio you feel welcomed & a little more comfortable.

I have been in the Health Industry for over 15 years now. During that time I have been so honoured to meet 100’s of Clients in the community & they have trusted me to help them overcome their Pain & Injuries, Correct their Posture & Restore Balance & Alignment in their bodies. I have worked with Elite Athletes, Pre/Post-Natal Mums, Tradies, the more Mature Members of our society & Everyone in-between.

I originally opened the Active Pilates & Sports Therapy Studio in Mona Vale back in 2015 - introducing Reformer Pilates (in my own style). Combining my Sports & Anatomy knowledge & Comprehensive PIlates Training I really just wanted to help the community be pain free.

Prior to opening my own Studio I was working with The Sydney Roosters & within a Yoga Practice - I was seeing way to many people (often super fit & healthy people) with chronic aches & pains. Understandably they were frustrated with their bodies & looking for answers.

My studio was based around education. Trying to help Clients understand the “why” behind their Pain. Introducing them to the world of comprehensive Pilates, Clients realised its not just a way of moving, but rather a lifestyle. Their Posture started to change, their alignment within their bodies improved & balance was restored… bingo, PAIN FREE! The Bonus with Pilates is we tone up & we are stronger from the inside out.

I absolutely love my job.

Fast forward to today… I moved to Freshie with my little family & passed on Active Pilates to my very knowledgeable friends in the Pilates industry who continue the good vibes in Mona Vale & I am going back to my roots = Small Group Classes.

I love teaching in this way.

A maximum of 4 Clients in all classes.

I find this is the perfect number so I can really help each individual Client, yet we can all still have fun in a group setting.

My expertise lay in not taking myself too seriously, working on my jokes to keep you laughing (abs abs abs) whilst still crafting personalised Pilates sessions tailored to enhance your functional movement & facilitating your overall well-being.
